How to Set Up IPTV on Android

Install IPTV Smarters Pro on any Android phone, tablet, or TV box using Xtream Codes or M3U URL.

Introduction

Setting up IPTV on Android is straightforward. The Google Play Store has several excellent IPTV apps, and your StreamProTV subscription works with all of them. This guide uses IPTV Smarters Pro, the most popular choice.

What You Need

  • Android device (phone, tablet, TV box) running Android 5.0+
  • Your StreamProTV credentials (server URL, username, password)
  • Stable internet connection

Method 1 – IPTV Smarters Pro (Xtream Codes)

Step 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device
  2. Search for IPTV Smarters Pro
  3. Tap Install and wait for the download

Step 2: Add Your StreamProTV Account

  1. Open IPTV Smarters Pro
  2. Tap Add New User
  3. Select Login with Xtream Codes API
  4. Enter the following:
    • Name: StreamProTV (or anything you like)
    • Username: your username
    • Password: your password
    • URL: your server URL
  5. Tap Add User — your channels and VOD will load automatically

Step 3: Navigate the App

  • Live TV: All 10,000+ channels organised by category
  • Movies: The full VOD library
  • Series: TV shows with all episodes
  • EPG: Electronic programme guide — see what's on

Method 2 – M3U URL

If you prefer to use your M3U URL (provided in your welcome email):

Step 1: Install a Compatible Player

Download any of these from the Play Store:

  • GSE Smart IPTV (recommended)
  • Perfect Player
  • VLC Media Player

Step 2: Add M3U URL in GSE Smart IPTV

  1. Open GSE Smart IPTV
  2. Tap the Menu (≡) icon top-left
  3. Select Remote Playlists
  4. Tap the + button
  5. Select Add M3U URL
  6. Paste your M3U URL from the welcome email
  7. Tap Add — the playlist will load

Tips

Tip: For Android TV boxes, TiviMate is a much better experience than IPTV Smarters. It has a proper TV interface optimised for remote control navigation.

Note: If you see an error about the M3U URL, make sure there are no spaces or line breaks in the URL. Copy and paste it directly from your email.
